At Vanya Bagh Jawai, we aim to provide an seamless wilderness experience. Because of our intimate property size and limited luxury accommodations, we adhere to a strict booking and cancellation schedule.
1. Reservation & Payment Policy
- Advance Payment: A 50% advance deposit of the total stay value is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation.
- Balance Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be settled at least 15 days prior to arrival, or upon check-in for short-notice bookings.
- Safari Bookings: All wildlife safaris and government permit fees must be paid in full (100%) at the time of reservation confirmation and are non-refundable.
2. Standard Cancellation & Refund Schedule
If you need to cancel or modify your stay, cancellations must be communicated in writing via email. The following cancellation charges apply based on the date of written notice:
- 30 Days or More Prior to Check-in: 90% refund of the room booking amount (10% retained towards administrative/banking processing fees).
- 15 to 29 Days Prior to Check-in: 50% refund of the room booking amount.
- Less Than 15 Days Prior to Check-in: 0% refund (No refund for late cancellations or early check-outs).
- Peak Season & Holidays (Diwali, Christmas, New Year): 100% non-refundable regardless of when the cancellation request is made.
3. Safari & Experience Permits
- Wildlife safari permits issued by local authorities or local tracking arrangements are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable once booked.
- In the event of park/route closures or extreme weather decisions enforced by forest officials, safari fees cannot be refunded by Vanya Bagh.
4. Check-in & Child Policy
- Standard Check-in Time: 14:00 hrs (2:00 PM)
- Standard Check-out Time: 11:00 hrs (11:00 AM)
- Guest Identification: Government-issued photo ID (Passport for foreign nationals, Aadhaar/Driving License/Voter ID for Indian nationals) is mandatory for all guests at check-in.
- Children: Children under 5 years stay free of charge using existing bedding. Extra bed and safari charges apply for children aged 6 and above.
5. Unexpected Events (Force Majeure)
Vanya Bagh Jawai shall not be held liable or offer refunds for cancellations or delays resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, road blockades, or sudden government restrictions.
